GA OR GO MEANS

“I knew I had a problem. I just didn’t know what to do next.”

That is a common place to start. Usually it comes after a loss, a fight, a payday that disappeared, or another promise that this was the last time.

The message is simple: go to GA for a room full of people who understand, or go get more support. Either way, do something different before the next bet.

GA means meetings.

Gamblers Anonymous is a fellowship of people who meet to talk honestly about gambling and how to stop. Meetings are free, and there are in-person and online options.

GO means more support.

If a meeting is not enough on its own, GO points you toward treatment, therapy, debt help, family support, and practical tools.

IN THE NEWS

The boom is loud. The addiction is quiet.

Online sportsbooks and prediction markets are everywhere now, and gambling addiction is rising quietly alongside the boom.
